Google recently began sending out window decals to local businesses to promote the usage and adoption of QR codes, as well as to promote Google Maps, and they’re calling these businesses Favorite Places. QR codes can be decoded with most smart phones (iPhone, Android phones and Blackberry’s) and will provide a link to the business listing on Google Maps.
The good news: We’ve been selected as one of the few businesses to receive these promotional window decals!
However, because we don’t have an actual office (I work out of my home), I thought I would go ahead and post pictures of the letter Google sent, along with the QR code window decal.

Lifehacker once again presents us with a great Gmail tip to make your internets better.
Because Gmail ignores periods in your email address, you can sign up for multiple accounts on websites that only allow you to register an email address once. Just insert a period anywhere in your Gmail address.

This new show from Leo Laporte and his gang at TWiT has quickly become my most favorite podcast. I eagerly await Saturday afternoons (3PM Pacific) so I can tune in and watch it live on live.twit.tv
On the show, of course they talk about all things Google, but that’s not all, they also talk about cloud computing and other internet, Web 2.0, tech and search related news.
